Amanda Sass, LPC

Oconomowoc

Hi, my name is Amanda Sass, please feel free to continue on to see if you think we would be a good therapeutic match! I am a licensed professional counselor. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Cardinal Stritch University. I previously worked inpatient and outpatient at Rogers Behavioral Health and outpatient for Jefferson County Human Services and have been in the field for almost 10-years.

I primarily work with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, AODA, anger issues, and assisting with everyday life stressors to help decrease overwhelming feelings. I use diverse modalities of treatment including Dialectical Behavior therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Just a few things about me on a more personal level; I love Fall and Halloween so you will catch me at Fall festivals, pumpkin patches, and haunted houses. I enjoy horror movies, either checking out new ones or revisiting ones I have seen. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and reading and traveling as well.

Taking that first step to begin can be daunting and I want to provide a safe and welcoming environment. If you have any further questions for me I would be happy to connect with you to provide a brief consultation before you make any decisions!
